Cooling Drum (Calibrator)
The cooling drum is used in the production of polystyrene foam trays, commonly found in the food packaging industry. After extrusion, the foam sheet passes through the cooling drum, is rolled into coils, and then cut into trays using pressing machines.
Cooling drums can be manufactured in various diameters and lengths, allowing for flexible operating ranges during production.
After manufacturing, the surface of the drum is coated with hard anodizing, which helps minimize friction and maximize wear resistance, ensuring long-lasting performance.
